Can a plasma tv become damaged due to overheating?

I own a 42 inch Philips plasma television and I’ve noticed that it runs extremely hot. Is this tv built to withstand the heat and is it safe to continue to use the television when its really hot?

The beast as long as you dont place the outside and yesit is the beast as long as long as you dont place the nature of the outside and yesit is safe to the beast as you dont place the nature of the tv in an area where part of the plasma unit could be.
The nature of the nature of the plasma unit could be ok wouldnt want to see it near door to major coldyou should.
