This plasma has a connection that allows you to hook up your laptop to it. Its a 50” vizio hdtv. the laptop is a toshiba tecra m2, a few years old. I know that the newer laptops are able to connect to TV’s, but not sure mine can. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

The tv has a built-in tuner to pick up HDTV but I’m not sure what that means? Don’t I need an antenna for that? I’ve see an HDTV Digital Receiver at Best Buy - do I need one of those? Also, the TV is a 58″ Panasonic Plasma and has a SD-Card port in the front. If there is a way I can capture a frame onto a SD card, that would be perfect.
