I have an old plasma tv that turns on and everything, only problem is there is no picture. Can you please help me to diagnose what is wrong with the tv? Is it possible to fix old plasma tvs or do you just throw them in the garbage after they do not display a picture anymore? Any help or advise is greatly welcomed! Thank you.
The model plasma is Fujitsu #PDS4209U-B I believe the plasma is over 10 years old.

I am thinking about getting a new plasma tv and am wondering if playing my 360 on it will hurt the screen. I have heard that images can be burned into the picture and don’t want to spend a bunch of money and ruin the tv.

lost power cord for samsung plasma tv. the model is hp-s4253 but i think most of the samsung tvs have the same cords. i dont want to wait to order one over net. ive heard that the ps3 cord would work. that would be great because i could just run to the local best buy and grab one. does anyone know if that would work or know of any compatible cords?

I have had the scroll since day one and cannot get rid of it. I recently put in a very expensive surge protector thinking it would help and the scroll is still there. It’s not a very heavy line, but it is noticible. The scroll always starts at the bottom and goes to the top. HELP!!!

I just bought a Panasonic Plasma TV from Ultimate Electronics. It was an open box value, meaning it had been on display in the store for several months, turned on. While it was in the store, it was contantly running a DVD, meaning it had the black bars on top and bottom for the wider aspect ratio. When I turn the whole thing on now, there are lines where the black bars ended. I’m pretty sure this is typical “burn in” for plasma, but I’d like to know if it could be temporary. Does anyone have any tips on how to remove these faint, but visible lines?

I just got a new 42” Phillips Plasma TV. I have a sony surround sound system that I would like to hook up to it. The plasma tv has a jack called SPDIF Output. The surround sound system requires a Left and Right audio input. The problem is that the tv only has that ONE jack for output and the surround sound system requires TWO. I purchased a cord that you can hook up to one jack and it has 2 RCA jack female parts. I hooked my 2 audio cords into this and it still doesn’t work. Maybe the cord that I purchased to make it into TWO jacks doesn’t work for audio. Can anyone tell me how to hook up surround sound to an SPDIF output jack!!
