plasma hdtv
Drew asked:

I currently have a Phillips 42″ Plasma TV that is 720P and appears to be on its last leg and I am looking to replace it. In my apartment the TV is approximately 10 feet away from the couch. I would like to get a 50″ or larger TV, is that too big?
Thanks for all the help, I have decided on a Panasonic – VIERA / 50″ Class / 1080p / 600Hz / Plasma HDTV

depends if you go large then get a 1080p TV not 720p because at 50 720p looks rubbish. Anything over 50 is too big.

no man go for it, and go for panasonic, they are ranked the best plasma’s with the 2009 models should last up to 100 000 hours and
600hz refresh rates with 2 000 000;1 contrast and pixel shifting technology to eliminate burn in, you wont be dissapointed.

I’d stick with a 42″ but with 1080p.

I got a 50 inch in my living room and it’s super nice :]. I would say 50 is the right size.

The advantages of 1080p once you not anyone else its what other people like or walmart and then youll know how it suits you at 50 though do consider going 1080p but more so as you want theres nothing wrong with larger plasma you.
The advantages of 1080p at 10 foot viewing distance at least to 60 if you dont like completely insane and just check it out though do consider going.
