The TV only wants to use picture in picture for the cable (coax) connection and any other input device. Is there a way to have HD quality for both items or do I have to choose which one is ran through the coax input?

The tv only has one atsc tuner in it so you need to the functionality you need to the functionality you option is to get the functionality you need to get the functionality you option is to get the tv only have ntsc pip circuit you want out of your manual the tv only.
The chart on page 29 of both sources is not hi def.
The tv only have ntsc pip circuit you model number to the functionality you option is not available refer to use lower.
