plasma tv
Larry S asked:

i have a dell 42 in plasma tv; the picture went out in the middle of a program but the sound works fine. i have researched this some and it looks like it may need a video board…any other ideas would be helpful.

The only way you can be sure is to open it with multimeter any good electrician will do it.

the tv has a fusible link just like a car fuse . i just replaced one two weeks ago. the tv did the exact same thing . in the front or back of your tv should have a removable Panel that has a plug in fuse with prongs.the device was put in as a back up as to not blow the mother board components and or the picture components. the part should be between 15 – 45 dollars roughly.the tv i fixed was all so 2 years old well good luck. check your owners manual it will help locate the wiring lay out.
