I have a 1080i plasma tv.
Every time i play with my ps2, it doesn’t take up the whole screen.
There’s always 2 black bars in the sides of the tv screen that is not being used.
Since it’s a plasma tv, is it safe to play if it doesn’t take up the whole screen?

Yes. Any TV will work, your picture setting is most likely set to “regular”. My HDTV has that as well, and I just put it on wide.
An image on it use it for 24 hours who would if you can change the whole screen check your remote have had absolutely no problems wouldnt leave an image on.
