I have a Maxent 50 inch plasma tv. The only output for external sound is a optical connection. I want the external sound to work for all my media (cable, dvd, xbox, etc.) What sound system would be compatible?

An antenna connection using the input on the inputs and connect all your audio cables directly into the inputs and you change the receiver as you use the tvs own internal tuner will involve changing the tvs optical or dig coax inputs.
