But, what happens with black bars that appear in many “ultra wide” 16:9 DVDs? Do they burn onto de display? Or this model “recognize” this type of black bars? Thanks.

For early generation plasma iwhile you should avoid static images period the burn in problem was for early generation plasma iwhile you.
