Playstation 3 and Samsung Plasma HDTV Help?

I am trying to hook up a Playstation 3 to a Samsung 50″ plasma screen HDTV and I don’t know what to do. We have the HDMI cable hooked up to HMDI IN 3 and we have put the tv on HDMI but nothing is happening.

Please help and provide full details in what to do.

The input button on the input instead of hdmi think its the tv to ours to ours to play wii same thing reallyhdmi cable.
