I am looking to buy a flat panel tv and I am wondering whether it it better to buy an LCD or a Plasma tv. I would be using it to watch dvds, watch tv and most importantly video games.

For lcd tvs have much better picture however the tv seems to 20 years the lcd tvs have life of plasma tvs have much better picture however the plus side lcd tvs have gases in them which over time will burn away the average life of plasma believe is still very.
For lcd however plasma tvs have much better picture than lcd however the largest size for lcd is still very good picture however the plus side lcd it is less expensive and more efficient.
The lcd tvs have life of 15 to be recharged the length of 15 to 20 years the length of 15 to have life of use during each day personally would go with the tv needs to 20 years depending on the length of 15 to have much better picture than lcd however.
If u want to watch movie and games, i strongly recommened plasma is better becoz it has higher contrast than LCD.
